Sliding Door Security Bar I'm one of those people that has a real beef with sliding doors and the locks that they have. I'll try to explain this in the way of physics, but a regular door either pushes in or out. Meaning that the force on the look is always perpendicular, but with a sliding door is always parallel to the lock and this creates wear and tear. This one actually mounts onto the sliding door and you just lift the bar up and down in order to lock it. It's brilliant and simple.
